SCCI provides Enterprise Configuration Management (CM) for Navy surface ships, including but not limited to DDG, CG, Amphibious Ships and Carriers. CM is also provided for Navy warfare systems such as LCS SUW, SSDS, BMD, and VLS. SCCI maintains CM plans and related planning documents; generates plans for problem resolution; and provides potential solutions and recommendations for the generation of policies, briefs, plans, instructions and operating procedures by analyzing technical data flows, program activities, and major program milestones and issues as they affect Enterprise CM.
Our CM support is provided throughout the entire lifecycle: acquisition, design, construction, checkout, testing, sea trials, in-service operational availabilities, and decommissioning. Areas of analysis include: weapon systems, computer programs and firmware including Operating Environment, and requirements. CM efforts encompass all required disciplines: CM Management and Oversight, Configuration Identification, Change Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Verification/Validation.
Our team supports Engineering tasks through document Data Management functions. SCCI has expertise with SharePoint and other repositories to provide administration and maintenance of configuration documentation.
At the shipyards, SCCI provides CM support to the ATT in the receipt, control and processing of computer programs and firmware including preparation of associated documentation and maintenance of the data.
